Improv Playhouse is an entertainment organization and full-service acting school that specializes in comprehensive improvisation and acting classes for adults and youth, corporate and private entertainment, business training and development, and talent management. We provide a nurturing environment for the beginning actor to the advanced professional fostering growth in the whole person without compromising one's personal integrity.
Many adherents to our training philosophy evolve into professional performers on stage in the improvisation, television and film industries. The Adult and Youth improvisation program is all-inclusive and thorough in methodology, formation and curricula catapulting its students to the highest levels of development. Adult improv shows and dozens of youth productions are peformed throughout the year immersing actors in opportunities which include focused dramatic training and musical theatre. Each adult or young actor, if desired, is given personal attention from their first acting class, warm up, through the audition process and final performances.

Libertyville, Illinois in central Lake County near Chicago and
has programming in Highland Park, Vernon Hills, Lake Zurich and Round Lake Beach.
